What is this Operation Green Scheme 2025 ?
As you all know, farmers are not getting the right price of vegetables like tomatoes, onion potatoes etc. Due to which farmers are abandoning the cultivation of these vegetables because they are not getting the price of the vegetables grown by the farmers. Due to this problem, which has worsened the economy of the farmers, the Central Government has started Operation Green Scheme.

Under the Operation Green Scheme, the central government will now encourage farmers to cultivate intamater, onion potato and three vegetables. And the government will get the right price for farmers of these vegetables, tomatoes, onions and potatoes. So that farmers can get encouragement for farming and farmers should cultivate these vegetables in more quantity.
Operation Green Scheme 2025 in new changes
Under Operation Green Scheme 2023, the central government has made some new changes in this scheme. Presenting the Union Budget 2023, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the income of farmers will be doubled by 2025. And 22 more agricultural products have been added to the Operation Green Scheme under Mission Operation Green Scheme 2025.

Under Operation Green Scheme , the central government will bear all the expenses from growing the crop of farmers and for safe and transporting the crop. Earlier only 3 vegetables were added in this scheme under TOP schemes but in this budget 22 agricultural growers have been included in this scheme.
