Tnreginet Inspector General of Registration is a portal which is created by the Tata Consultancy Services Ltd for Registration Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. In this portal, different services are provided to the people of Tamil Nadu.

Registration Procedure for Tnreginet Portal
Here are few steps to precede your tnreginet registration form:
Step-1 Visit official website Tnreginet.gov.in
Step-2 From home page go to registration option and click on user registration and the list will appear on the screen like this image:
Step-3 Now you have to just fill the form – Name, Username, Password, Date of Birth etc.
Step-4 Then fill your full address and captcha which is shown on the page, you’ll get an OTP on the given contact number.
Step-5 Enter the OTP you got on your number and click on Complete Registration.
Procedure to Search Encumbrance Certificate
- Visit the website Tnreginet.gov.in.
- Remember applicants must be logged in with your registered username and password.
- From home page you need to click on Apply Online
- EC application form will be shown on your screen in a moment.
- Fill all the information correctly on application form and upload the documents.
- Finally submit the form and get a copy of your application form.
How to Search Encumbrance Certificate?
- Visit the official website Tnreginet.gov.in.
- Click on Search EC link is given under the Encumbrance Certificate option.
- A form be shown on your screen fill all the information correctly such as district, zone, EC start date etc.
- Finally click on Search and then EC will appears on your screen.
- You can also check your status of Encumbrance Certificate.
Procedure to Make Any Documents in Tnreginet Portal
- For applying any document the candidate needs to complete their registration first.
- You must be logged in with this portal.
- And then you’ll see a Create an Application link, Click on this link.
- After that you have to click on Create Document, options will appear on the page.

- Select your zone, district, seller and name etc.
- Click on Search button you’ll get your information.
Procedure to Search Wedding
- Visit the official web portal Tnreginet.gov.in
- From home page to click on Further and then on Search then click on Wedding.
- Select your marriage type, Registration Wise or Name Wise.
- If you select name wise enter wife name/husband name, date of birth, date of registration.
- If you select registration wise so you have to enter sub register office, registration number and year.
- Now Click on Search you will get your information.
Procedure to Search Society
- Visit the official web portal Tnreginet.gov.in
- From home page click on Further Button appears in menu bar.
- Select Search and click onSociety.
- Select your zone, district, DRO name, sequence no, name of society, year of registration and the captcha code given on your screen.
- Click on Search then you will get the information.
How to Search Birth and Death
- Visit the official web portal Tnreginet.gov.in
- From home page click on Further Button appears in menu bar.
- Select Search and click on Birth and Death.
- Select birth and death option.
- If you are select Birth then fill the information – certificate number, baby name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name and captcha given on screen.
- If you select Death then fill the information – certificate number, Name of the person, gender, date of birth, place of death, name of father/husband, mother’s name and the captcha given on the screen.
- Click on Search then you will get your information.
How to Search Document Clerk ( Writer )
- Visit the official web portal Tnreginet.gov.in
- From home page click on Further Button appears in menu bar.
- Select Search and click onDocument Clerk.
- Select your zone, district, office of the Delegate and enter your name.
- Click on Search you will get your information.
How to Search Chit Fund( Ace Fund )

- From home page click on Further Button appears in menu bar.
- Select Search and click onAce Fund.
- Select your zone, district, ticket company name, DRO number, serial number, year, group (ace volume) and the captcha.
- Click on Search you’ll get your information.

- Select Internet Home Application Services and click on Know Your Jurisdiction.
