What is this Operation Green Scheme 2023 ?

Due to this problem, which has worsened the economy of the farmers, the Central Government has started Operation Green Scheme.

Under the Operation Green Scheme, the central government will now encourage farmers to cultivate intamater, onion potato and three vegetables. And the government will get the right price for farmers of these vegetables, tomatoes, onions and potatoes. Under Operation Green Scheme 2023, the central government has made some new changes in this scheme. Presenting the Union Budget 2023, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the income of farmers will be doubled by 2023. And 22 more agricultural products have been added to the Operation Green Scheme under Mission Operation Green Scheme 2023.
